Collaboration with New Enterprise Forum to create state’s first annual statewide entrepreneurship forum (Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship Event or ACE).  Collaboration of Michigan-area MIT groups to create unique technology showcase and decision-modeling events.

  • ACE 2001 attendance @ 60; ACE 2014 attendance @ 800
  • Collaboration of Southeast Michigan MIT Clubs (Alumni Club of SE Michigan, MITEF Great Lakes and MIT Sloan Detroit) with multiple prominent government and industry partners to create unique technology-showcase and decision-modeling events
  • Three MIT-led events held – Detroit Forum on Community Revitalization; Nanotechnology Forum; Integration of China into the Global Economy; Energy & The Economy Summit – with average attendance 200-300
